Great place to relax and enjoy nature

I only dipped my feet in for a bit. I came in to scope the park before making a decision. The water is amazingly clear and the park is clean and well kept. Families were playing music and kids were tubing and splashing around. Perfect for a family getaway, maybe just a few friends, or just a solo trip. Haven't been back but I'm excited to go!

Very
If it is good and there are rescuers, always close and if the water there is very cold, it is quite enjoyable.
Weekends before 6:30 weekdays before 9am
In the middle. Not very cheap, but not sit down prices. It is like a concession stand. Also, it was cash only when I went.
The entrance is from 5 to 6 people per car 5 dollars
I saw birds a turtle in the brush and little tiny fish no bigger than 2" or 3" long. I'm sure during the off season there probably will be alligators if no one is in there but from what I have been told they don't like to be around people
You need be there 6am at the gate
Get there at least by 7am. The park fills up quickly on weekends and holidays.
Assuming travels mostly go home on Sundays I would vote on Sundays. But prepare to still get there no later than 6am on weekends.
No life jacket rentals. Water is shallow. Can stand up almost the entire way down the stream.
With or without a tube. Food is $3 to $9 $8.50 for a burger. Publix sandwiches are the best.
It can be drunk. It is a spring.
They do not allow dogs (pets)
3 days ago.. I paid $3. for 1 adult. All of the trails close to the spring are closed.. I wouldn't go, until they open all of the trails.
