My experience in the Spring having my Deere lawn tractor serviced was terrible. Thought I would let it go. Flash forward 4 months later and when I go to remove the bagging attachment I find they welded it permanently to the attaching brace.

I’m writing this review because I own a JD x 300. Last year I put a lot work into it new hood, rear tires, seat, belts, etc My father bought this machine about 20 years ago. I have a Down Syndrome daughter, Katie. One of the joys of her life was when my Dad gave her a ride in the cart pulled by this John Deer Tractor. After my Dad passed away, I continued giving Katie her rides. imagine my disappointment when after one of her rides, the transmission went. Everyday that went by she said ride and I had to tell her the tractor was broken was hard to say the least partially because the joy of giving her a ride and because it was my Dads tractor. I could not find a used transmission so. I brought it to JD United Agriculture & Turf. They told me how much it would be to fix my tractor. I said I had to think about it. I didn’t know if I could afford it. A few days later Bill from the service department called to say he talked to some of his fellow employees and they decided to pay it forward by fixing my tractor at a substantially reduced cost. They were obviously moved by my story of Katie and her rides. I could hardly believe what I was hearing. The generosity at Agricultural & Tuft their knowledge and friendliness will never be forgotten. I know they can’t always do this, but I would highly recommend these guys for repairs or new purchases. I totally appreciate what they have done. Now when Katie says ride, I help her into the cart and off we go. I think my Dad smiles every time we go.

Ownership changes can make hurdles to cross. Especially when the previous owner was extremely popular with consumers and personnel working for the business. Charlie Luke was known for his integrity and fairness by all. He is an extremely hard act to follow creating challenges for the personnel of United Ag & Turf now running the business. Andy Segalini as manager is working through those challenges day by day and trying to do what is right in the tradition of the store. There are new faces like Bill Papaleo in service and Andy as store manager. There are still some of the stalwarts such as Dave Eaton in sales, super tech Tim Bruey, Mark Trahan in parts and Jim Saulnier in delivery/pickup among others. I have had a tractor in for repairs that ran into an available parts issue which stretched things out. The team worked to get the job done by working through challenges one after the other. In the end they did the right thing and made me feel like a valued customer
