I have really enjoyed bringing my kids here in the past. This visit was a bit disappointing. There were many rides that were closed. The whole waterpark was closed when the website states that its open until October. Out of the rides that were in operation, there were several that also closed an hour prior to closure of the park which reduced the options further. I bought cups that allowed you to refill as much as needed throughout the day. The drink machines were filled with bees making them difficult to access. They also closed all of the stands an hour prior to closing leaving my family and I with no access to drinks for the last hour of the park's operation on an 87 degree day.

This year my husband bought a season pass for the whole family, he paid $400 for the season that starts in May and ends at the end of October but this year when we got to the park they said our seasonal pass was expedited in Labor Day. What I know from 14 years ago we've been buying the that the season pass expired in October not in September, but they said I need to buy a ticket or upgrade the season pass. Why did I buy the season pass in advance, and I don't know if we will be able to use it for next summer or not , this is called a monopoly by the park for customers and for this illogical condition from great escape this year, it is impossible to think again about buying the season pass for next years . I don’t recommend this park for any body

My son went there today with his aunt and his cousin. They were very disappointed that all the water rides were closed and some of the other rides were too.one ride broke down while they were on it and seemed like forever to get them off it. Most of the food concession stands were also closed .not a good time for the kids for 39.99 plus 13.99 for the ordering fee..not to mention 20.00 for parking ..we are locals.we should be treated better than this ..will think twice before we go again ..😥

Because they don't care.
Because it’s a membership…it’s paid monthly regardless
Everything is card. New policy they have in effect
Yes you can. Since it's owned by six flags your season pass and dinning pass will work at ALL six flags parks. Including your cup.
The platinum is the best you can get and it's totally worth it. Some rides are not open right now
One never knows why someone parks in a handicap spot. Some show no outward signs like my family. My husband has 6 toes amputated. Cannot see them. Then after a couple of hours his feet kill or me my knee just gives out and I get heart palpations sometimes.
Prob not
I would not consider this a good place for the handicap. To start their handicap parking is across rt.9. There is a bridge to cross but it uphill then downhill on the other end. The park itself is all hills. They do not have shuttles from the parking lot . I would like to add that there is plenty of parking on the park side , but great escape choices to use it for people willing to pay more for parking and also the closer spots are used for their higher up employees. At one point there was handicap parking on that side also but they choose to move it.
You can bring a friend for free as long as you have a season pass.
Yes! They use these. You may have to enter a phone number or address but the ID should work!
They don't give you a booklet anymore and portal does not work
Check the App. It let's you know what you can redeem them for
No cash accepted in the park. They have a handful of places to turn your cash into a prepaid card
Website mentions 12pm-5:30pm Sun-Fri, and until 6:00pm on Saturday. You may need to call ahead to see if that is when the last entry is.
You cannot visit the concerned park on blocked dates
If you buy season passes, you can purchase a separate bottle and fill it up no charge every visit, multiple times
Pretty sure kids under 2 are free.
It's different depending on the day, I would suggest ordering on their website. If you plan on going at least twice, it's worth it to get the season pass
I belive they are $16 for the smallest, $18 for the next size up, and something over $20 for the largest. We always get one for our clothes and shoes when we're in the Waterpark because my phone alone is worth it.
I just paid $42.99 for a day pass. After taxes and fees it was $55.73. This does not include parking, parking is extra.
It opens may 21
We don't open until may 21
because the weather has been horrible and cold? it’s a obvious question
I used my cell phone as my tickets can be viewed through my email.
Like Tammy Benson said. You pay all year long. The one thing I will say is it is not easy to cancel even after the year is up. Also if you're close enough to be going to great escape be sure to try six flags New England, it's included with your membership and so much better in every way except for how long it takes to get there.
They are free of charge. As to why, they may enjoy the children's splash area during hot temps
Yes. You can even upgrade your day ticket to a season pass when you leave the park.
Theres a high chance yes but also a slim chance no. They are supposed ti open end of july early august but who knows. Ive been there for the last like 2 weeks and they have done alot getting the park ready so most likely no you did not.
Current plan is to open at the end of July. Park is currently prep ping for that but cannot open until given the go ahead by the state.
Tickets are sold by the day. If you want to go more than one or two days, you are better off getting a season pass.
No, you can go to customer service and they will provide you with another pass. But if you lose it again you will have to pay a fee for a new one to be made.
They are open on weekends through October 12 - 6pm. Unfortunately we experienced many rides closed with no explanation.
There isn't. There's general public parking and handicap/preferred.
Wheelchairs For your convenience, wheelchair rentals are also available in International Village at Village Marketplace. The fee for a standard wheelchair is $25 plus a $10 deposit. The $10 deposit will be given back in Six Flags Dollars. Electronically Controlled Vehicle (ECV) is $40 plus a driver's license is required and will be held as a form of deposit for ECV's. Because there are a limited number of wheelchairs and ECVs for rent, we suggest you bring your own and/or come early to ensure availability.
Contact home office.
they range from 45-65$ for admission. Depending on what day you go there are different rates. You can check there website for pricing https://www.sixflags.com/greatescape/store/tickets

Tickets are only good for one day. This dose not change of you arrive late. If you wish to return consider upgrading to the season pass. It would be cheaper then paying for 2 days admission.
The chain has opted to remove the Looney Tunes and DC branding from the park. I have heard of no plans to bring them back. The park however dose have its own characters. Of they have to see the chracters and you have a season pass you could take a trip to Six Flags New England and the characters should be returning to the reflaged Darien Lake.
Can't see why they were not on less he bought 2 adult tickets and not 1 adult and 1 child ticket. But even then he would have to pay for preceded parking and probably a meal deal. My guess is the total is including admision, parking, and food.
Generally the answer is no. There is no outside food permited. If you have a young child in a driller you can get away with some items. I normally eat before entering the park and not have more then a snack at the park. Then eat after since they close early.
You can Call them but you should have a confirmation email
