Love our home, moved here last year retired from Ohio. La Plaza keeps pool very clean and our property mowed. Rent reasonable. Close to Clearwater Beach ⛱️.

Sorry La Plaza .I have to let the truth be known. First night Im there they tow my Uhaul Away and it cost me 190 .00 Dollars to get it back the next day! They said too bad! Also You cant have a trailer or boat in or around your home. Your guest cannot park on the streets. SAFETY ISSUE...the homes are not permitted to be too close together against building codes and fire codes in the county. Your not allowed to build a deck. You can Not have family members stay for more then a total of 28 days in a years time.PLEASE STAY AWAY .You really sign your life away with way way too many RESTRICTIONS here. No Way... Your kids are not permitted to live here in this community also limited day restrictions.PLEASE STAY AWAY. Read all restrictions and rules before you even consider moving here! Sorry La Plaza..You cant treat the people like S__t and expect good results. IT IS WHAT IT IS! Other mobile home owners tell me horror stories. They are falsely accusing me of breaking rules I have not broke . Bad Bad place sorry I moved here now. Hey If I'm not aware that my u-haul is not allowed out front of my home at least give a call and let me know to move it. Don't just tow it.Whats Wrong with you people? Stop ripping us good people off. If you call you know people will move the car or trailer.....but then you don't get any of the tow money charged in your pocket. Also there s fence beside my home that is decaying and needs to be replaced or painted. No one has responded to my request to please make it look presentable. It's been over a month and your maintainance man said you're not gonna do anything about it. We and my fellow neighbors have to live here. Also, I had misplaced my mailbox key and you charged me 25 dollars to get me a copy of my key. Finally You have been increasing the rent consistently. Don't you know many seniors are on a fixed income! What the heck is wrong with. I am simple telling the world how it is here..please Stop just Stop ! taking advantage of these warm hearted senior citizens. They are good people!

La Plaza is under new management! The couple who presently run the park have elevated this place remarkably. It is obvious they care about the residents and go out of their way to make improvements and also create fun activities to draw the people together. As of 2022, this is the current situation. This is a clean, quiet park with friendly people and a great location. It is near the U.S.19 intersection which will take you north or south of Clearwater. There is a plaza directly across from the park which is very convenient. If you are looking for a well kept 55+ park with considerate residents, good management, and terrific location, this is the place for you.

Yes, there are plenty of homes for sale in our park. Some are by the owners and others are park-owned. I suggest calling the office for more info.
You'll need to contact the office for what's available. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
It depends about what you mean by rent. If you are talking lot rent it's around $600 a month and you do have to pay for Duke energy. Duke would be based upon your energy usage.
They allow cats , but im not sure on the the leases though
I dont think so.But i can check.
If you go online and put in Friends of 6700 100 50th Avenue North you might just find a Facebook page I heard there is one if you do that hope that helps you
Each winter season the Park itself have units to rent but the minimum number of months they rent out is for 3 months. Alternatively, they also have a list of unit owners who are interested in renting out their units monthly. In each case however, the renter must submit to s criminal check before being allowed to rent. I believe the cost is $50, non-refundable.
Check with the mhp management office they would know who's mobile homes are for rent.
A very nice mobile home park. Great management. Many activities to keep residents busy. Small pets are allowed, but only on the outside perimeter homes. Location couldn't be much better than this. Lot rent is currently $567.00 a month and generally goes up $10-15 a year. Great management.
Lot rent is 562 and we do have a pet section
Minimal property damage. A few homes lost their carport roofs, and a few got top layer of roofing peeled off. Most homes (90%) had no to very minimal damage; i.e fallen palm fronds, a punctured screen, etc.
It should be ok. There are a lot of homes for sale and a couple for rent.
