We toured the independent living and town center buildings at the Water's Edge of Bradenton. The place is lovely and the apartments are huge compared to other independent living communities. The common areas looked inviting as well. We saw the dinners being served and the portions were large and looked very tasty. The dining room had a nice "vibe" since it overlooks the large pool. All considered, we were very impressed with the Water's Edge but the pricing was higher than the other places we considered--which was too bad since I think my in-laws would have been very comfortable there. Gina answered all of our questions--she was wonderful.

A dear friend is getting excellent care at this friendly facility. There are numerous fun activities and outings, great food in the dining rooms (or delivered to the room), compassionate and professional care from the staff. 5+ stars doesn't quite capture the experience! Well done!

Very discouraged from making OT here. Managers care more about looking good and in control rather than paying their employees properly for the work.

Water's Edge was hands down the best choice in independent living that I found in the Bradenton / Sun City Center area. It has modern and fresh amenities in a secure setting that is very inviting. Although it's not the least expensive option, with everything included the value proposition still stood out.
