I had no issues with this practice before becoming pregnant. I love Tonya but either the receptionist staff or call center staff is rude and very disrespectful. I was told I had nothing wrong with my first ultrasound (that I had to have at the hospital, due to bleeding) because I had my ultrasound done at the hospital I was then called too cancel my first ultrasound appointment and told that if I kept bleeding I need to go to the hospital. I did exactly that. The second time I decided to go to the hospital it was brought to my attention that I had a hemorrhage/hematoma, The Ladies and Babies staff nor the doctor at the hospital made me aware and I did not know until this visit even though it is on my Previous visit paperwork but not on my discharge papers that I had received for my first visit, I had to look up this information because the doctor at the hospital did tell me it was on there. I did talk to the staff about this and I did tell them my concerns beforehand. So I decided to go ahead and see another doctor and cancel my appointment through their automated phone call. When I received a call back it was not because I missed my appointment, first thing that was said was we are canceling your ultrasound appointment because I decided to go to the hospital again for bleeding for multiple weeks straight. Why are you canceling appointments for things like this? and then told that I can’t have an ultrasound whenever I want to, obviously it was not about the ultrasound it was about wanting to know if at least my child had a heartbeat because I was bleeding for multiple weeks straight, I haven’t even got to seeing the baby because I went to the hospital for these visits. I know for a fact you guys look at these ultrasounds that happened at the hospital and you can see exactly what’s going on as a healthcare provider? Why are you making patients feeling inadequate about their concerns and arguing with them, very unprofessional.

If zero stars were an option they would get it from me. It's disheartening to see all the good reviews on this place, I guess some people don't know what it's like to get treated like a human. I'm now 18 weeks pregnant I found out 5 weeks ago and schedule an appointment as this is who my primary referred me to ( he said he won't be referring any one else here again) I waited 5 weeks for the appointment to come it took me over an hour to schedule the appointment I answered so many questions and provided a lot of information and asked alot of questions. When I arrived today for my first appointment my husband and I were extremely displeased. This our first child but it's not the first time I've been to an ob/gyn appointment I've been with close friends and family. For a first appointment leading up to the 5 week wait thinking we were going to get to see our little one for the first time and all the anxiety of going through the first trimester we just want to know that the baby is ok and healthy. Also they seemed to be upset that my primary did not "confirm" the pregnancy before hand, he had done a blood test and a urine test the 5 weeks before the appointment. They kept referring to the baby as a fetus and corrected me when I called it a baby and asked me to refer to it as a fetus( I think this is what sent me over the edge). It's my child I'll call it what I want. The said I was still in the discovery phase and they refused to prescribe me prenatal vitamins siad if I really wanted to take them I could buy them from the store over the counter. I could really keep going but I feel this is the important stuff there was a lot more. If you want respectful care for you and you BABY!! Find another group.
