So we’ve stayed at the Hyatt Regency for the first time in Boston. We had such an amazing experience that we actually had our wedding at that hotel. We decided to visit Greenwich CT, But unfortunately didn’t have the same experience. We booked a suite thinking it would be great for us taking into account that we have a 7month old baby.. the room looked and felt dirty which was extremely important to me- I ended up purchasing Clorox wipes to sanitize our room.

The hotel is going through some renovations and some of the services aren't back. I used to enjoy the on site restaurant, Winfield's, especially the breakfast. The atrium bar was great. Neither are open now. I did enjoy just sitting in the atrium having breakfast (bought from a local store). The gym equipment is well maintained. The dumbbells go up to 75 lbs which is enough for most people. The rooms need to be updated but area also well maintained. The price reflects the fewer amenities. I'll be coming back.

The first floor was really gorgeous and it’s probably a great place for events but honestly the rooms were not as clean as I would have liked and need serious updating. They also didn’t have breakfast because they were doing renovations, understandable however what about a discount…..? Also very poor sidewalks surrounding the building if you have a dog that can be frustrating, they cut off and don’t circle the building entirely. Service was very polite but overall disappointing for the cost.

Positive: The common areas were very nice. The nature ambiance was lovely. The room itself was average at best. The curtains had makeup and one of my pillowcases also had makeup on it. I did not use any of the other amenities. Negative: The front desk staff. Receipts were never emailed and additional charges were made to my credit card. Calling corporate to resolve the issue was also an unpleasant experience. I had explain myself repeatedly and it took a long time.
