They have really great attorneys here. They take the time to listen to you and they are with you every step of the way! Please if you need help and can't afford it then check out legal aid in Pittsboro. You have to call to do the intake application. You can't do it online even though there is a link. I wish you the best of luck with all of your troubles and I hope that this helps. Happy holidays too!!

Legal Aid in general is a great organization that does invaluable work helping victims of abuse and others who need representation they might not otherwise be able to afford. Unfortunately this particular office seems to have no problem representing abusers, which of course creates an incredibly messed-up, backwards situation. They are seemingly working in direct opposition to the overall mission of Legal Aid NC. Hopefully the state level organization will do a review/audit at some point and realign this office to morality and the protection of victims.

No... Legal Aide helps seniors with other things. Pull up services on google
While Legal Aid does not handle custody/ visitation cases, they do offer a free custody workshop once a month. You receive all relevant paperwork and information on how to file a motion for custody. Contact your local office for more info about local workshops.
