This was an incredible, educational, and emotionally moving place. Thank you John for being such a gracious and friendly guide.

Great non-profit museum with a great tour. Would highly recommend a visit, an absolute gem of a place in such a small little town. The lady that gave the tour is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly! The parking on the sides of the road are available for 2 hours and we were the only ones there so we had no issues parking. Also, the hand carved knifes were very cool because i’ve personally hand carved wooden knives when i was younger. I have a picture i took of them but i now realized it wasn’t the best photo lol

Very interesting. A part of history we must remember. Freedom did not come easy for the slaves a day thank paid a heavy price for their freedom. It is even a struggle today
