We loved the tour. Our tour guide had so much information on everything at the roundhouse. I would say kids would be bored as it’s more informational then a kids playground.

Great history on trains. Sarah was our guide and you can tell the team loves trains. The tour is a walking tour that’s 1.5-2 hrs, so be prepared. It’s great to see the trains but may be too long for children.

Had a blast.. took about 1.5 - 2 hours to walk the building. Very informative Matt and Bill are great guide's.

Excellent place to learn about steam locomotives. Laurie, Glenn and a very nice group of enthusiast volunteers will guide you thru the steam engines history.

I work on the CVSR. NKP 765 will be here the first 3 weekends of September. Then it's off to Bellevue for several weekends.
We might wait and see, time will tell!
Yes and reserve is a good idea because it sells out there is a limit on each your I really enjoyed it
We did not have to show ID. I would call them and flat out ask. You paid for it, I don't think it should matter to them.
Visit the web site its may through October
Looked pretty good when I was there last weekend. Not sure on current status.
This is a working roundhouse packed with real, working, vintage steam engines. We didn't see any models although there's a gift shop with you trains, t-shirts, books, etc.
Yes. All one level tour. Beautiful museum, great tour guides-so much information.
No train rides they just take you through their museum to look at all the trains and the other train memorabilia.
I believe you need to schedule a tour through their website or by calling ahead.
They don't have any of that there. This used to be a private collection and some locomotives actually hauled freight and passengers on this guys own and operated rails. He has since passed away and his family has opened this up to the public. No children are allowed on/ in the roundhouse.
I would recommend getting on their email list and check website.
No rides but if you enjoy old-time Railroad it's the place to go the man who built it was the best man I work for and this was his life's dream
May want to call them on that question.
No idea. We were there on vacation. I sent them an email regarding the poor Web site.
