We love history and historic sites and this village was very nice to visit. The museum guides we met were very good and we learned a lot. The exhibits are well done, the garden beautiful. We made a purchase in the well stocked Zoar Store. Our only disappointment was we wished they had a historic restaurant in the village serving 1800s style foods. That would have completed the Tableau for us.

I love everything about Zoar! Great little village to explore. If you're one sensitive to spirits you're going to feel them here!

It was our first time to see Zoar historical site. Informative history of 200 migrants from Germany. Two centuries ago, from 1817 the communal property still thriving. Our guide tour was knowledgeable. We will try to see their Christmas in Zoar on December 4th and 5th 2021. It should be interesting and we are looking forward to it.
