Clayton Campbell and his team are the real deal. I had some bogus charges that I could have gone away for several years for so I called Campbell Whitten and had a meeting with Clayton, told him my situation and he took care of everything. I didn't even need to go to court! You pay more than fair price with these guys and get top level legal representation. I couldn't be happier with these professionals but I want to say thank you especially to Clayton for personally handling things and being very friendly and professional every step of the way. These guys are who you want if you're in trouble.

COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I called this place and had a consultation three weeks ago the lawyer SAM told me to send over my file so he could review it and decide whether or not to take on my case for family law. I emailed it over to him by the end of the day I called back two days later asking if he had an answer on whether or not he would take my case and the woman said I’ll have them call you back I wait into the next week and I call back again and the secretary says I will get a call back from Sam. Then fast forward even two weeks from that time and I called back again about three days ago and I ask is Sam going to give me an answer on whether or not he will take my family law case? She says I’ll give him another message but I can’t give you an answer for him only he can answer that SAM what kind of attorney makes somebody wait three weeks to review what is a fairly simple divorce case and not have the professional respect and courtesy to give someone an answer and instead you stonewall them and go completely silent?

Mr. Sam Van Eerden is an exceptional attorney and took excellent care of me during my difficult case. He went above and beyond, paying special attention to details, and was available for my questions with great response time. I highly recommend Mr. Van Eerden and his team.

Updated: RETAIN AT YOUR OWN RISK. While the original posted information is accurate, I did leave out some pertinent information because at the time I was pleased and didn't realize my actual situation. -case #2: I'm still waiting on a return of my retainer for my other case that originated in the beginning of December. That case needed to be done ASAP and put my loan for my home in jeopardy. I did get lucky and the paperwork was not needed in the end, but nothing was ever done until they received multiple calls (that went un-returned) and multiple emails (that went unanswered) from me in I believe mid January (over a month). I would assume that an urgent case would have a court date set within a couple business days and maybe a week at most. -I'm currently probably close to 5 unreturned phone calls into them, to get my retainer back from case #2. I picked these guys because they mention they are aggressive, but I didn't realize that meant they would aggressively avoid my calls and emails. -Case#1: I had to call and email twice to get the retainer agreement emailed to me after I had already paid the retainer. -the original court date was going to be rescheduled by Sam over video conference, but was never confirmed by him that he was going to until 9:30 pm the day before despite my emails (email was to be the primary source of communication according to retainer) leaving me hanging until the day before. -I was not briefed prior to going into court on the second court date. He simply shook my hand and walked into the court room where he stayed on his phone. If I'm paying for him to be there I would expect my attorney to be available to me to answer questions and/or prep me for court. -I had also requested reimbursed time for the time I lost at our initial interview. That never made it into the response nor into court, even though I mentioned it to him during court. I was told the commissioner wasn't feeling well and that it was not a good time/idea. -In the initial interview Sam seemed to make my situation seem more dire than when in court, after no other evidence was introduced and he simply just asked for my case to be dismissed because the other party hadn't provided enough proof. Which he would have known from the beginning. -I'm sure there's more but I'm going to leave it right here because by now you get the idea I'm sure. Maybe they're super busy who knows? but this is part of my experience Original: Sam did a great job getting me out of a bad situation i got myself into. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and answered all my exhaustive questions. Not to mention when it came to the most important part, he was excellent in court. He even did a video call into court to reschedule my hearing while he was out of the state for the holidays, due to my quick court date and his prior engagement.
