If I could go back in time and tell myself you are going to find a gym, be working out 5 days a week, and feel like a whole new person I would of laughed at my future self! Burn has completely changed my life. I was a stay at home mom to my now 7 year old and felt like I needed to find something that was a community and also improved my over all health and wellness. I found it when I walked into Burn Worthington. This is not just a gym, it’s a family. I look forward to working out. I have friends waiting to cheer me on as soon as I walk in the door. The trainers are amazing. They know how to help you conquer your goals and keep you motivated.

I joined Burn in 2018 eight months after having our first baby. I have always been a runner and an intermittent gym goer but I was looking for something to motivate me in this new season of life. A bonus was that they offered child care during the classes! I had the opportunity to do a free 6 week trial at Burn and I was immediately drawn in not only by the varied and challenging work outs but also by the incredibly supportive, friendly and encouraging community of Burn members. From the incredible trainers and staff, to all the members and those working in the childcare area, it is not an exaggeration to say all of these people are people I would choose as friends and cheerleaders. This is the first time since playing sports that I feel like I'm part of a cohesive, special team again. I now have 3 little boys four years old and younger and it is worth the effort to me to bring all of them to Burn class with me. It's a win-win: I get in an amazing work out and can clear my mom brain and they get to have a change of environment and play with other kids and the childcare staff who I trust wholeheartedly (shout out to Stephanie who has been there since I began in 2018)! I love that my kids see the importance I place on exercise and being healthy (they can literally watch me work out through the windows that look from the childcare into the gym). At first I thought 45 minutes for the classes wouldn't feel long enough but it has proved to be the perfect length of time because we are working hard that whole time and no two work outs are the same! No more dragging myself through the gym for 1-2 hours doing the same weight lifting exercises or trying to slog through the treadmill or elliptical. The Burn trainers are so inspiring and will help you modify exercises to accommodate pregnancy, injuries or a lower baseline fitness level. If you need people who will hold you accountable and you want to see actual changes in your body and positive mindset, I really cannot suggest Burn enough. I love looking up the Burn Protocol for the week so I can wrap my mind around arm day, leg day, speed/agility, core conditioning, full body strength and whatever else is to come. I'm actually working and strengthening every single part of my body for the first time in my life and it feels amazing. I'm also having fun! It's nothing like I have ever done before and for that reason I am able to be consistent and even excited about my work outs. I love my Burn family and feel so grateful and blessed to be a part of it. Thank you to all the people who make it a great experience day after day, work out after work out. Burn is amazing! It is so much more than just a gym! It has become one of my favorite parts of the day. Everyday I get a great workout and connect with all the other women in the Burn community. The workouts are unmatched and the trainers do an amazing job of encouraging and helping everyone! And the child watch is great—I love being able to see my kids playing while I workout! I am so thankful for this gym!

I have been at Burn since it opened its doors and could not imagine a better community and workout! This place will challenge you, encourage you and you will walk out having had a great 45 minutes (sweaty and exhausting but great). The trainers are so accommodating and I was even able to work out through an entire pregnancy because of their expertise in modifications. Free childcare is also one of the best perks of this gym and my kids even ask when we can go because they love being with their friends at Burn too!
