Unfortunately our moving experience with Atlanta Peach Movers was terrible. This company was recommended by several friends who had just recently moved. So many things went wrong with our move, but it started with the estimate of time/manpower the move would take. We were quoted for 2 trucks, 6 workers and a full day. We needed 3 trucks at least 2 more workers and the full day was 13+ hours. The crew was obviously exhausted (no telling what kind of day they had the day before, but they said they had another all day job with 7 workers the next day and they weren't getting home from our job until after midnight). Things were broken, dropped, walls were dented and the worst part was the $5600+ of floor damage that was done to the new floors in the new house. I understand that things get damaged during the move, but usually the movers communicate the damage when it happens. Not Atlanta Peach Movers. Nothing was put on the floors to protect them (especially the claimed "red carpet") which caused the extensive floor damage. We have to move back out of our house for 5 days for the floors to be repaired. I've filled out the damage claim form they require, spoken to Janice Brown who handles the damage claims sent 5 emails (including the email with the quote from the flooring company, photos of all the damage, etc.). I've left 6 messages. On top of the terrible experience of the move, it has been almost a month and I have heard NOTHING back from the office about the damages. I don't expect any move to go perfectly, but I don't think it's too much to expect a response from a company when there is an issue. Do yourself a favor and find a moving company that doesn't just say they will do a good job, but will actually follow through on doing the job right. Maybe the one with "tree" in the name. Although I won't be using this company in the future, I want to give them credit for doing the right thing in the end. After much persistence on my part, they did pay to have our floors fixed. All the wood floors on the main level had to be sanded and refinished. We had to repack everything and move out of the house for a week which was a hassle, but the floors were fixed so for that I am thankful.

Top 10 most STRESSFUL day in our lives. 2 Bedroom Apt: 12 HOUR move, items DAMAGED, and movers FIGHTING. I would have saved the money and moved myself if I knew. If you are shopping for movers, take a minute to read the below (ESPECIALLY if you have a designated time in which you need to move your belongings). STRIKE 1 - 4 HOURS LATE. We had a scheduled elevator time for our new apartment and we did not make it. Would have been nice for a call. But no, barely any communication. They were also supposed to call when they were 30 mins away. Never happened. STRIKE 2 - BED TOSSED OVER BALCONY. A mover literally dropped our mattress from the second story balcony onto the ground... thankfully it was covered in a mattress bag. (Now this did anger another mover and scolded him). STRIKE 3 - INTERNAL FIGHTING. Internal fighting starts when we get to the storage unit. We hired three movers but a fourth arrived with the crew. She seemed to be the girlfriend of one of the movers but also a supervisor (at least that's what she told me). It was clear that there was a division among the four, 2 vs 2. As a customer, I don't want to hear about how one can't stand working with another in a middle of a job, this is a stressful time and hearing that makes its worst. STRIKE 4 - MOVER LEAVES EARLY. An hour at the storage unit when the Mover and Girlfriend/Supervisor get into their car and leave. I figured they ran low on supplies and went to get more. After an hour of them being gone, I knew that was not the case. The rest had to be packed up by the two movers. I noticed they were exhausted. Being down one mover, it took the two over 1.5 hours to finish loading the truck. It's now 7:30 PM, our contract had them being done at 5 PM. STRIKE 5 - OVER AN 1 HOUR TO DRIVE 9 MILES. I arrive at the new apartment and to my surprise I see Mover and Girlfriend/Supervisor waiting there. They said they've been waiting an hour and asked where the truck was! After a 30 mins, the mover asked if I could call the truck. Apparently he didn't have their number. How!? How can they have no form of communication between one another!? We call the only number that was provided to us and surprise, it's Girlfriend/Supervisor's number, who's standing right next to us... I asked if she got ahold of the truck and she tells me that she doesn't have their contacts. Another 30 mins passes and the truck finally arrives. STRIKE 6 - BOTH SIDES TELL US TO REPORT THE OTHER. Both pull me aside to reaffirm they were doing things right and the other was wrong. STRIKE 7 - MOVER AND GIRLFRIEND/SUPERVISOR LEAVY EARLY AGAIN. The whole crew is exhausted and frustrated between each other. They didn't have a system and were slow. It's after 11 PM when Girlfriend/Supervisor says that she and Mover have to go because she has kids at the babysitters. STRIKE 8 - MOVER LEAVES ENTIRE ELEVATOR FULL. After the two leave, we discover that the elevator was overloaded with our stuff. The mover filled it and left it, The other mover and I were shocked. He shook his head in disgust and started unloading. I started helping to get the nightmare over sooner. STRIKE 9 - COPS ARE CALLED. The two movers exhausted and get sloppy. I saw moving bins broken and boxes crushed. I didn't realize the extend until we started unpacking the following days. It's 12 AM and a cop shows up while they are leaving for a loud noise complaint. I'm mortified, but he's understanding and they all leave. STRIKE 10 - COMMUNICATION WITH THE OFFICE IS HARD AND VERY SLOW. After we regroup we call the office a few days later. We expected a professional courtesy of some sort of compensation. Nope, we got an apology and told they were all suspended for 3 days. We never wanted that, that doesn't help us and they were all nice people individually. As we continue to discover more and more damage we are telling our friends, families, and loved ones our horror story. I have more to say but I've reached the character limit. I hope this story helps others to avoid this company and find a better one.

Previous mover from Craigslist never showed up, so I thought I'd try Atlanta Peach Movers since I see their trucks and ads all over town. They gave me the cheapest hourly quote of the 3 movers I contacted. Sharon and her team were exceedingly pleasant, courteous, and professional. The movers showed up bright and early as promised (despite wintry conditions that morning) and moved everything out and into my new home with efficiency and care, all within 2 hours. No wonder they are the official movers for the World Series Champion Braves! A winning team!

Moving has to be one of worst things people have to do. As a senior citizen it is a hard job no matter how prepared you are. Peach state Movers made everything run like clockwork. They were polite, clean, hardworking men. They were accommodating to everything we ask. Our furniture is in store for 5 weeks at which time i will report back as to how that goes. A perfect 10
