Mitec Solutions is the best place in need to go for internet!!! We recently switched over from AT&T and loved the change they gave us a high speed difference and at an awesome price! Whattttt? The Staff are so awesome being so nice to you throughout your process of getting internet and the owners are just as encouraging and helpful. If there are any important images, movies or documents on the laptop, Id recommend not even turning it on until you recover the data from the hard drive. Taking the hard drive, and removing the data when an operating system is the first priority. IF it is not important, you can just wipe it and try installing a new operating system like Windows 10. If it doesn't work, it might be the hard drive is bad, or another component isn't working correctly. If you need any help ever, give the store a call and someone can help answer your questions over the phone as well.
Hey Keri, you probably already got this resolved but for everyon else reading, It will be far more cost effective if you were to take the old and new computer in to the store. The reason is because transferring data takes a lot of time. 200GB of data could take anywhere from 4 to 8 hours to move, and that is a small quantity of data for some. For this reason, having the both of the machines in the store is ideal. That way the transfers can be done overnight.
