Great little restraunt we found because the regular restraunt we normally go to when we are in Wheeling was closed due to the 4th of July. We are so happy we found Sonnys. Great breakfast at a great price. All employees were very friendly and personable. We will definitely visit Sonny's again!!

The food was good however, the establishment left a bit to be desired in the cleanliness department. It seems that the new owners aren't pushing it...I use to enjoy this place however, I am a bit leary due to the cleanliness ...if I can see the uncleanness up front and personal what is going in with the areas I cannot see?? Anyway just one customers opinion...maybe it was an off day...

My home fries were so mushy a 6 month old baby could have ate them. Finished drinking my orange juice and the cup still had dried milk in the bottom of it. There was a hair is my eggs. She took the eggs back and as you can see in the picture they weren't cooked all the way. The coffee tasted burnt. A manager was requested but never showed up to the table. No music was on. When Joe ran this place before he passed it was SO MUCH better. Not sure who is running it now but boy has it gone down hill. VERY DISAPPOINTED 😞 Terrible and not the waitresses fault.

If it's your first time here, it's a little unclear how to order, but just pick a seat and they'll be with you soon. The wait staff is friendly but busy. It took them over 5 minutes to say hi, but they were steadily busy as I waited. The food is real low cost. Down home vibe to the place. Swing jazz music played softly while the kitchen hums with cooking and the waitresses swirl around topping off drinks. Good food. Relaxed environment.
