They have limited indoor dining. Call them. (IMO still too risky to dine indoors)

YES, I DID. So I asked why every time I got certain cuts, why / how could be so darn salty. It's because they "think" they are making the lower priced steaks tastier - these are MARINATED FOR Hours soaking in a mystery solution that includes what tastes like 99.5 % SALT! Too bad and they warn anyone in advance. The menu should indicate this cleary. Shame on them, the place generally has a long standing good reputation. As another wrote, this practice CAN RUIN SOMEONES SPECIAL OCCASION > > and it's for those that drove fairly lond distances to celebrate in this place with the very old, well-maintained decor - lots of 120 yr old wood panels throughout. Too bad the Buckhorn owner(2) seem totally unaware. At least they could also offer a choice. SIMPLE - WITH OR W/OUT MARINATION (= SALT BATH)
Prices vary. Steak dinners start around $25 and go up from there depending on the cut. All dinners include fresh warm bread, soup or salad, a vegetable, and a choice of side.
Yes the rib are off the hook. But I think ribs are Wednesdayand Tri-tip is Tuesday.
