I do a lot of traveling up and down I-95N this location was relatively in reach as I blew a tire on a razor, Also needed my breaks changed. Figured I could stop in town get a hotel and see the town while my car is worked on. They told me it would be an easy 4hr job. It took 2 extra days for them to fix my vehicle among tinkering with things I did not request. I’m not sure if they’re used to seeing people of color but as I was waiting to pick my vehicle up; I did happen to over hear the Folsom crew speaking of “that black boy” which I was the only person in the lobby at the time coincidentally I’m African American. Be careful with who you do business with folks $1500 later dealing with extending hotels stay and the excess charge I received from Folsom is a bit of a hindrance in this time of a pandemic

The staff at Folsom r knowledgeable. I've bought truck parts there and have never had a problem getting the right parts at a fair price. I highly recommend Folsom's Auto Salvage to everyone who wants to be treated fairly when buying Auto parts. There polite and prompt

Sold me a transfer case for my 2004 Chevy Silverado that was bad, went back to have it swapped out for another with higher mileage and was told I would not be allowed a refund or money back based on mileage difference, had the second one put in by my mechanic to find out that too was bad, again went back to see what this business could do for me just to be yelled at and blamed and only given another transfer case to try out, was told over the phone that I could check it inside the vehicle so I could confirm it would work just to show up 20 minutes later and find them taking it out. Asked again if I could get any money back or have them pay for repair costs just to have them tell me to leave and that I could bring them to court. Have taken 2 days of work off, spend over $400 in labor and material for 2 separate transfer case that didn’t work just to be given another that they hope works. Very dirty business with no respect towards paying customers. Do not recommend

They sold me good used parts so cheap that there is no way it covered the 20 minutes it took to pull them from a compatible vehicle. A nearby salvage yard refused to even look for brake rotors, citing "lot rust". Well, there may have been a bit of rust on this one but it's massive, intact, and my brakes are working great. I wouldn't be on the road right now if these guys hadn't gone the extra mile to help me out with a cheap used caliper and rotor. I feel like I owe them, really.

Yes they do pay cash for junk vehicles, while it may not be a lot depending on what you have. I hauled a Pontiac SUV in here last year and got 150$ for it and it had many good parts, no rust, and needed only a couple parts for the engine to be running.
