I’m sorry to say, but I ate better cupcakes at target. I had the chocolate très leches, and milk was flowing from it. The frosting tasted just like sweetened whipped cream.

Really good cupcakes. We recommend. There are even gluten free cupcakes. Incredibly delicious!

We had an amazing experience with La Luna for our daughter's fifth birthday party last weekend. I ordered a few days before the party (this mama was a bit delinquent on party planning :) but the bakery was so gracious and easy to work with. I didn't have a specific design in mind, just wanted something that would fit the rainbow theme of our party, and the person who took my order talked through ideas to figure out a simple decoration. We ordered five dozen, some with custom rainbow frosting (really reasonable pricing for this customization - see pic of our lovely rainbow cupcakes) and some just a mix of the bakery's standard flavors ("standard" is an understatement, there were so many delicious and inventive varieties). Delivered on time and in perfect condition to our event at a park in SF. The few vegan/GF we ordered were clearly labeled. It was so easy to just pop open the boxes and delight our guests :) The cupcakes were so yummy that some of the kids AND adults had seconds. Highly recommend La Luna for events or just a little treat. We can't wait to order these cupcakes again.

I'm curious, what kind of buttercream do they prepare? American vs. Italian vs. Swiss vs. French??
