My English bulldog lost his life today. He was only 6. He was having respiratory distress and I called Rainbow asking for help and they told me they were full and proceeded to give names of places that were over an or two away. I said he won’t make it that long. I live 10 to 15 minutes from Rainbow and they couldn’t care less about my dogs medical emergency. This is the 2nd time in a few months I reached out for emergency care for one of my dogs and was denied. Terrible and heartless are a few words To describe this place.

We recently had a traumatic event that took the life of our baby ferret. We took her to Rainbow for cremation services and the staff far exceeded our expectations. We received our cremation ashes on the exact day that we were told. The cremation ashes were beautifully package with the footprints that we ordered, a beautiful card from the staff and the engraved plaque that we ordered. An absolute great experience at such a terrible time in our lives.

My cat had some complications from being neutered at Angels For Animals including excessive bleeding and bruising and swelling that was unusual. (ive owned a few cats that have been neutered and never had an issue) Anyways I took my cat to Rainbow and they were incredibly professional, helpful, and reasonably priced and seriously helped our family's cat. They provided us some medicine for our poor cat and really good advice and put us at ease. Thank you Rainbow Vet Hospital you guys are awesome!!!!

The vets are really nice and seem like they care about the animals. However the scheduler/on call lady is not. All she seems to care about is the last time you were at their office even though they are an emergency service. She’s extremely rude and cold and shows absolutely no empathy. We called on two separate occasions and she told us that they wouldn’t take our dog as they were full, even though they are supposed to be an emergency service and basically told us “oh well”.

Do u know of another vet? I think she may need to be put to sleep 😭😭 I don't know what to do, I need to do what's best for her and not me
Take her to Rainbow. They are wonderful there. Very caring and explain everything to you in terms that you can understand. Good luck with your fur baby
They do have an orthopedic surgeon on staff. I'm not sure of any of their other specialists.
They came out and put my dog to sleep about 4 years ago.. they were wonderful.
This is something determined on a case by case basis. I suggest you call and discuss it with someone at the office
I got an appointment the same day I called without being an emergency appointment. Depends how booked they are.

I hope not. Worst pain a cat can go thru. Research more about it please come up with another way. Mom had it done to my Siamese yrs ago and NEVER DID AGAIN!
U can also apply for a card called care credit at Rainbow Vet. I don't have great credit and was approved for it awhile ago when my dog became very sick.
Best advice would be to call and ask. It probably depends on size and weight and whether you want them to bury the pet or if you take him home to bury him. Sorry for your loss. :(
They do not take/make payment plans unless you're signed up with CareCredit or the other credit providing service they accept.
