If you like paying full blown retail for donated items, this is your place. Community Aid is trying to be a specialty boutique, like Buffalo Exchange or Plato's Closet- at least their prices suggest as much. The problem is, they don't selectively buy the items that people bring in, they take whatever is dumped in their boxes, but don't price it like they got it for free. They alledge to be "neighbors helping neighbors", but they're taking advantage of people with little money, who can't afford much. It used to be that poor people could at least look like they could afford decent things by going to places like this. Now, you can literally get the same things online, or shop sales at Marshall's, or even Boscov's, and get the same or better prices, with more selection. I don't know how they can claim to be a "non-profit". Dollar Tree items- $2. Bargain bin records- $15. Sterling earrings (that are $10 new) $15-20. And I get it. They can charge whatever they want. But the whole noble and altruistic angle needs to change. Instead of "Neighbors helping neighbors", maybe change it to "If you don't like the price, don't buy it".

I’m not sure how a place can be so big but still have nothing. Honestly, the vastness of the building is a real bait-and-switch. Many of the racks were bare, and unfortunately for me, it was for the items for which I was looking: men’s sweaters, sweatshirts, t-shirts as well as those items for boys and women. For a store that size, there was hardly any furniture or home goods. No electronics, cameras, etc. And the little items of the value or interest they might have, they mark up in price and place on special tables. I honestly think there is more to offer in any Goodwill I’ve ever been in. All was nicely arranged by color and it was certainly a clean place. I have to say, though, it kind of smelled like a bathroom sewage situation when we walked in—like how it smells when you try to cover it up with an air freshener or something. We stopped through coming home from a trip, going a bit out of our way to do so. Reading the reviews gave me the impression that this place was a worthwhile stop. That’s why I felt the need to write this; I wanted possibly to save others the trip if they, too, planned on going out of their way. Oh, they’re definitely piping in that Christian music in a very serious way—in case that isn’t your thing. This didn’t necessarily surprise me, but it doesn’t feel very welcoming to someone in the LGBTQ+ community and/or someone not aligned with the conservative message/Christian faith. Just saying.

Heros day. If you served or currently in military. 50% off.
Each day has a different color tag for half price. Monday is half for heroes (firefighters, police, educators), Tuesday is seniors (55 and older), Wednesday half price for every one, Friday nights half for student ID. Not sure of the other days specials.
No they are closed
No there not open today holiday
I don't think they have any. Atleast, I never seen signs about it
I agree with @Jessica Lunger. I would call the store for donation location and drop offs. Hope this helps.
Yes they are
I believe so
Check the online website, or, if you're in the store just ask anyone who works there.
Check out Mifflinburg Thrit Store across from fire company
Wow, I wasn't aware they opened their dressing rooms! Any other stores I've been in haven't. I did know about the face masks, tho.
No special discounts on Saturdays. They do have the $1 tags on Saturday still, but good luck finding anything decent left.
This inventory depends on what people donate to them might have tables this week and not have any tables and chairs for months.
They all seam fresh on the racks so they might, I'm sure they would do something after picking up from drop boxes.
I believe it is on Wednesday, they have discounts for different groups each day of the week. I'll let you know tomorrow, my wife said that I'm going there Wednesday.
I don't think that is going to happen.
I wouldn't say it's a large selection but it's a decent one and there's always hidden gems
That's the great thing about going to a thrift store... you never know until you actually GO THERE...
I cannot tell you that..I suggest you call them directly.
I'm sure they don't. But the community continues to donate
Call them. I don't remember. Sorry
Yes, just across the street. Route 11.
Multiple discount days as has already been posted by others. ⬆️
They use them so I don't see why not

Yes. In the store. Availability of air conditioners for purchase may vary.
As a fellow employee we dont accept beds and bed frames as donations as for various reasons so therefore we do not sell them in store.
Wednesdays are half off for everyone, other days have special groups that get half off clothing, each day has one particular tag color that is half off.
No

At the left side, of building, towards Toyoto, (There's a big sign there) employees come out n can help you with your donations, and help carry perishibles in. :)
Monday is heroes day. Tuesday over 55 and Wednesday is 50 % off for everyone. .. Friday is students day
Tuesdays are Senior Day (Age 55+) - 50% off ALL items (Except red tags & the new color tag)
Yes they do take couches
Every dollar that I save shopping there helps me be less poor & I need all the help I can get. The country ,state & federal have no unemployment funds to help the self employed.
Yes they are taking donations
Heroes day Monday also includes teachers. I was told; medical personnel, police and emergency workers, armed forces, teachers and volunteers. Although I'm not sure what type of volunteers have official i.d.'s, I consider blood donors to be heroes, so I'm going to try using my Red Cross blood donor card next time I'm there on a Monday.
