The picnic area and playground are positioned nicely under shade trees. There are fields for soccer and baseball with bleachers. There are two bathrooms, one next to the parking area that was open and another bathroom closer to the middle of the park that was closed. This park could be a 4.5, but there are major sanitation issues around the closed bathroom and inside the open bathroom.

This is a safe park and best part there's the library there too.. so if whatever season you love the most my suggestion is pack a picnic basket and grab your self a blanket or 2 and head to the library to grab yourself a good book and have yourself a beautiful peace day at Maxwell park. Or take your furry babies either your playful puppy to the older senior 🐕 too the doggie park, and for your other furry babies take them to park part, put a harness and a leash on your cool, collected, and steady kitten or senior🐈..

Lots of shade, thankfully! Park does get filled with parties and soccer games on the fields. Dog park and public library are on the other end of it which makes it accessible for more activities! Only bummer is the many homeless being present, which can be a turndown for families with children.

Grass is great, there is also some shaded areas to have a picnic like me and my family did. There is also a playground for kids to enjoy. This is a really nice park and is convenient since a lot of restaurants are near and you could stop here and eat really quick. I would recommend coming to this park, very nice.

Questions & Answers

When will the authorities who we pay tax take care of the homeless situations at this park? Please let the residents know as we have been waiting past 4 months for someone to take care of this.

It shouldn't be. There are enough people paying taxes to take care of this small park. All they need is to stop by and kick them out.
