Go to another location. This one is the dirtiest Petco I been to in San Jose. Mess everywhere on the floors and aisles. Probably a trip hazard since it's always things blocking and maybe chocking hazard for pups. I always see clear wrap, cardboard pieces and other stuff that should be cleaned up.

I'm not sure who's managing the store or cashiers but they clearly shouldn't be working at a PET STORE since they don't understand animals. I go to this location since it's down the street from my home but now I'm going to have to drive 20 minutes to another after today's "service". I walked in & was there for 30 minutes, no sign and no employee telling people it was cash only. So I drove down the street to get cash. I come back and they tried to charge me for a maybe $8 tiny duck plush bcz apparently my 5 month frenchie dirtied it after grabbing it from the TOP shelf. If you've been here you know they always have a HUGE mess...toys, boxes, leashes everywhere on the floor, under the shelves, blocking aisles. I didn't see my dog do it but if he did, he could of only got it from the floor & no shelf bcz again he's a puppy... You can't expect to have a MESS EVERYWHERE and want no dog to sniff or grab something off the floor. I always spending $70+ but it's about service....Cashier knows nothing about service and the manager, well i'm not sure why that's their title bcz he's clearly not managing anything.

I want to thank Mario, Juan, and the new guy Evan. Every time I go in to get stuff for my turtle 🐢 they always help pick out the green plants and rosy minnows and goldfish! They are very informative, especially for our 🐢. Thanks guys, great job 👍👏
