Be prepared to be harassed by the company if you decide to stop working with them. The sales representative wouldn't give me information about the system that they had designed until a contract was signed. Once signed you have 3 days to cancel; however, they will continue to contact you via phone, text and email even after you have cancelled in order to make a quick buck. You'll have to block their number and hope they don't use a different number to get in touch with you. Other solar companies have been way better at taking no as an answer. Even if they were the best value for me, I wouldn't even consider giving them my money at this point.

Buyer Beware: I’m going start this review with the one thing I was happy with. The installation team was fast, clean, and did good work. The sales man, Ian on the other hand, turned out to be super disappointing. Over promised, under delivered. I was told by him that my system was big enough that after the first few months (my system was installed in February) that I should have no problem covering my consumption. When I confronted him I got a few copy and paste responses from his sales manual and a “you can buy more panels if you want.” Super frustrating, super disappointed. I have had a bill over the $5 dollar charge that the power company charges, no matter what every month. Word of warning they under deliver and don’t have any interest in having satisfied customers after the check clears. Ended up with a underperforming solar system that will never cover my needs.

My blue raven solar experience was extremely positive. Taylor was my solar professional who was assisting me and he was amazing. He worked so hard to get me the best deal possible and kept me posted every step of the way. Anyone who is considering going solar should contact blue raven solar.

Promises not kept, metering mistakes, installation clean up and inspection delays. The installation clean up didn't happen, they will repair on wall but not the other they cut, I'll have to have someone fix that. Incentive promise made by Blue Raven but now no one knows anything about it. Wrong meter listed, Idaho Power can't install untill issue resolved, another delay. No communication between Idaho Power and Blue Raven. Update, a month has gone by, no wall repair, contractor assigned did not show up. An unknown final inspection is still pending a work order. Accountability is lacking, follow ups are lacking. I don't know what to say accept that there needs to be a re evaluation in how they operate. Get to big and you start screwing up jobs. If the issues can't be resolved then we have to go 1 of 2 ways, I'll fix it and you will pay me back or we allow legal to handle the breech of contract. Do the right thing in a timely fashion

I work with Blue Raven. I would recommend reaching out to your representative so they can review that option with you.

Solar panels cleaning: Some say one should use polywater wash $$$$. Your office gal said use water only. What does the manufacturer recommend?

Hello, I work in the local Boise office and water only is recommended. Don’t ever use any kind of soap on solar panels as it’ll leave a film on them that’ll inhibit the panels ability to produce.

Can you put Solar panels on Double wide Mobile homes?

Great question! We do not install on mobile homes. For engineering approval the home requires an attic beam structure that a majority of mobile homes don't have. Our general rule is to not install on mobile homes.
