Great service from courteous staff. Showed up on time, fully explaining what needed to be done for the repair and the cost, then expeditiously repaired the door spring and cables. Great experience and I would highly recommend.

Service tech Riley was kind and professional. Replaced a spring quickly. Communicated well prior to arrival and during the installation. Asked if I had any questions or other garage door issues to address. Thanks

There are multiple reasons your door may not be opening: A) Power outage - If your power is out, pull the disconnect cord to release the door from the operator and lift the door by hand to open. B) Broken Spring(s) - Pull the disconnect cord to release the door from the operator and lift the door by hand to open. If the door is substantially heavier than normal, then you probably have a broken spring. Do not use the operator, as you can damage the operator and also risk injury to yourself in the process. C) Broken Operator - Operators can have multiple issues. Pull the disconnect cord to release the door from the operator and lift the door by hand to open. D) Operator manual disconnect has been pulled
Yes! We always recommend getting an insulated door. Insulated doors tend to last longer and perform better.
Torsion - These are typically mounted on the wall above the top of the garage door, and they are usually black or silver. Extension - These are springs that are mounted on the sides of the door using a cable and pulley system. Torquemaster - This is a spring system that is contained in a silver tube that is mounted to the wall above the garage door.
On a two spring system, you should always replace both springs.

Yes! We can replace your old or damaged garage door. We also can install garage doors on your new construction project or remodel.
You should have your garage door serviced once a year. You should also check the balance of your door once a month.
With the proper springs installed, you should be able to test the balance of your garage door to determine if your garage door springs need to be replaced. If your door isn't holding itself up at the halfway point then you should consider getting the springs replaced before they snap and trap you in the garage.
The two most common reasons for this are either the sensors are out of alignment or damaged, or your settings on the garage door operator are out of adjustment. Check that your sensors are both on and aligned. Follow your owner's manual for your operator to check the open/close settings are set properly and adjust if needed.
Most new operators offered today have vehicle HomeLink compatibility. You will have to follow your vehicle manufactures instructions to set the programming.

Yes, we can get a higher cycle spring setup for your door. This is benificial if you are using your garage door multiple times a day as a primary enterance into and out of your home. Sometimes this will require an extra trip to a supplier to get a different set of springs for your door.
Torsion springs have a standard life expectancy of 10,000 cycles. On average if you open and close your door 4 times a day (4 cycles) that would net you a between 6-7 years of use.
