You can. The box is locked up inside the booth once you put the envelope in and it's not that much to camp or boat and it is checked often so if your worried about money going missing, dont be. It's safe and secure inside. Grounds person is on site right across from the booth too. I've always paid cash and I've been going there for over 5 years and never a problem.

Plenty of food and entertainment options within 15 min walking. For those with less physical agility (or have had a few drinks), the Inn is in a valley along the river, so there are steep hills and stairs to climb to most venues. There are a few exterior elevators available if needed.
