Inn at Manzanita

Do not stay here. My family rented one unit at the Inn at Manzanita. My child was going to sleep on the pull-out couch because there was one bed in the room. We opened the couch and there were dirty sheets still on the bed. There were no spare sheets either. We had her sleep with us in the bed because it was so dirty. The floor of the unit was also dirty and the unit smelled. The office was closed (closes at 5pm), so the next morning i brought it up to the Inn's caretaker. He could have cared less and asked me why I didn't call the number on the door?! I said because it was 11pm and the sign says it's only for emergencies. A better question should be, why wasn't the unit cleaned appropriately?! He refused to give me any money back and really didn't give me an appropriate apology. He kept saying, well, you should have called the number. He said there were instructions on the email sent to me too, to call the number if anything was wrong. That is also false; there were no such instructions. The TV also didn't work. When I brought this up to him he said, well, again, you should have called the phone number. I wouldn't stay here if I were you. For $200/night you'd think you'd have a little better service. There are much better options in the area.

We were very excited to stay here, but the booking was cancelled with two days notice by the Inn at Manzanita because of a flood in their main building. The way this was handled was quite frustrating. Keith was helpful and apologetic. The manager that we spoke with was not helpful at all and was pretty tactless. The end result was that we had to drastically change our travel plans because everything else was booked but we were already in Oregon. Had to spend a long time looking for places while already on vacation, not fun.

Everything was perfect!! Came here to escape the heatwave, and was worried about the lack of AC, but our room had so many windows the ocean cross breeze was amazing. The bed was comfortable, the linens soft, well stocked for our two night stay, large fridge in the room, very friendly staff - literally zero complaints. We will be back!

We stayed in the Explorer Room Jan. 2021 and we had an amazing stay. The room is beautiful, the hot tub is super large and the hotel is conveniently located steps from the beach and the Main Street with shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back again!
