Pretty expensive for over half the washers to be out of order

More than half of the machines are out of order and have been like this for months. The coin machine doesn’t even work. Waited hours for a machine to open up. Not sure what is going on? Are they waiting for a repairman or perhaps they don’t wish to invest the money in repairs?
