We used the Discovery pass via the Deschutes Library. Our trip here was underwhelming. We saw a few birds and bees.. Nothing too spectacular. Definitely prefer the High Desert Museum. Will have to check out but Observatory side one day though.

It was an awesome place it was so peaceful and the 1st time I saw a swan in person I didn't realize had big they are. And you can education while you are enjoying the small animals also. 🤩

Great customer service and great knowledge within all that work there. We had a relaxed time going through all the exhibits. The guides in the Observatory were knowledgeable and friendly. They will show you multiple space debris and even allow you to hold the rock shaped debris in your hand. You have to check the times for the Observatory as they do have scheduled guided tours throughout the day to see the Sun through their telescopes. The facility and exhibits are well kept and the birds and animals looked happy. Very happy to take an hour out of the day to go view and support the Nature Center and Observatory.

We really loved this facility. The kids had a great time but I think my husband had just as much fun. We learned about a Barn Owl and many other animals. The kids loved looking for the different animals on the list. Thank you Everyone there!
