It's a nice group site. Has wheel barrows to help get gear to your site, since you can't park right next to the site. Vault toilets are always clean. Metal rings for fire, picnic tables, and bear boxes at each site. An outdoor shower would make this a 5 for me.

I did this in a stock Nissan Xterra with 30” tires. You will not make this trip in a car.

Gorgeous views on trails and hikes. Cut a star because it was a little crowded, and every trail in that area is gorgeous. It'd be like 9 stars in any other area.

Yes u can. I would download an area map unless u have a real good gps unit cause service is little to none and there most def are trails all over

We had a Razor on many of the trails. Just needs ohv permit.

Not really a hike, it's a flat area campground. Depending which space you rent, some are deeper in the woods. Flat ground. Wheelbarrow available at the parking area.
I've seen standard cars there. You don't need an SUV to camp. Haven't had time to take the Jeep on the 4x4 trails so I don't know about those.
