I had an unusual request for a custom cut piece of glass that I'm not sure other shops would have helped me with. Alex took the time to go through options, some expensive, and he ended up being able to cut it on the spot and I walked out with the perfect piece! Excellent service, very knowledgeable, and the other staff were also friendly and helpful. This is now my go-to shop for paint and glass needs!

I rent a unit in a Hyde Park property that has gone to Oakley Paint & Glass for years! I used museum putty to put some art on the wall in my unit and unfortunately where the wall got a lot of sun the putty melted and ripped lots of paint off. I have been using this same brand of museum putty for years and this has never happened before! I told my landlord what had happened and they told me they no longer use the color that was used to paint my unit and they were unsure of what it was called but they knew it came from Oakley Paint and Glass. I took one of the paint chips there and explained my situation and they walked me through how to fix my spots where the paint had been taken off and even how to use a brush to mimic a roller as they were able to tell from the chip that is what had been used. Not to mention, the color match they made was PERFECT. Even though they could tell what color it was, they did a color match instead so I could get a container more suitable for my project instead of a whole gallon. I have attached a photo of my wall since making the touch ups. I am so thankful I will be able to get my whole deposit back! Thank you! :)
