We adopted two amazing kittens from there. Small fee covers care, shots, and fixing when of age. Nice, helpful people that are great with animals there. One of the best gifts our daughters ever could've ask for, I wish I could adopt them all. Highly recommended for those in search for a pet.

Volunteers on what
Currently OCHS only provides Spay and Neuter services for cats. Spay and Neuter Syracuse (SANS) provides a low cost program for dogs, they can be reached at 315-834-1041
OCHS only provides low income Spay/Neuter cat services for Oswego County residents at this time. They can assist in Home to Home adoption courtesy posts for animals in need of rehoming as foster space is limited.
You may also qualify if you meet the 2018-19 HEAP income Guidelines. You do not necessarily have to be receiving benefits. You must also live in Oswego County. If you meet the income limit for your household size, please give our office a call and we can add you to our waitlist.
We do not have any dogs for adoption at this time.
There is a small adoption fee for animals, mine was $15
