Great server and medley was great. Food came quickly. Try the Oyster shooter.

Whatever happened to this place?? The food is terrible!!! I had a dozen grilled oysters - it was over cooked and over chewy and salty -used to be just right, tender on the inside and properly seasoned rather than over salted. Also, for $29 I expect to have 12 normal sized oysters - sadly 3 of 12 were tiny dime sized! Seafood gumbo was bland, and the Crabcake was terrible, served over some sort of horseradish mustard sauce. The crabcake was mostly bread, the tiny little bit of crab. I would not go back. I’ve been to Nola five times and I used to come here every time I visited. Coming back anymore. The quality food at this place has changed! Don’t go unless you want to eat a bland salty forgettable meal and pay top dollars

Grilled oysters are tasty but a bit on the small side and a little overdone for my liking. Fried oysters and shrimp weren't too salty (I like) but the fried fish had a wierd texture for me. I think the fish being thin had something to do with it. Service was excellent as we have been here multiple times.

The grilled oysters are worth a 2 hour wait. This is where the locals eat. This is also where transplants return 1st.
Dont know about BBQ oysters, but I HIGHLY recommend the char grill oysters.
Masks are required til your seated, and wore while walking around.
I believe they are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I don't think so.
Not sure only had the charbroiled oysters which are excellent
Check the website
Opened at 11 but a line forms at 10:30. Not sure about closing.
Except to share a table if you are just 2 people.
Only grilled.....I think
Yes, there are several crab dishes on the menu. Here is the menu link if interested: Acmeoyster.com/french-quarter
Yes... but you're really gonna miss out on the experience if you do.
I agree, prices are very reasonable, a wait is common. We enjoyed it, the char grilled oysters are worth the wait.
Yes new Orleans is a party town...i guess it depends on location
No they do not. It's first come first serve. There is almost always a line outside (no room for waiting inside), but the line moves fast. We've never waited longer than 15 minutes
No, no reservation
No parking for the restaurant. Street parking available nearby but hard to find a place. If you are staying within 4~5 blocks you may want to walk...or just catch an Uber! Enjoy your meal! :)
Yes. As you can see they have grilled oysters. I had a couple and they were delicious and I don't care for oysters! I had the shrimp po-boy, which was fanrastic.
It's catfish, but you can specify snapper. I think it's a few bucks more.
Certainly do. Lines move quickly oud you don't have many in your party anyways
We got there around 615 on a Monday and our drinks appeared to be pretty cheap. I didn't ask if it was happy hour but we all noticed that the bill was pretty darn cheap
