This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel!! My first impression was a negative one, because I have a bad knee, and the only place you can park for the hotel is a parking lot up from the hotel which is only accessible by a long set of stairs. The lobby looked quite nice, and the hot breakfast was good. But the room was an extreme disappointment: 1) The room smelled like it had been doused in some sort of strong-smelling carpet cleaner, the kind the covers up bad smells (like cat urine), It was so bad, it aggravated my nose and throat. 2) The bed was VERY firm and uncomfortable; On top of the sheets, there was only a very thin comforter. I was so cold, I had to sleep in a long sleeve shirt and pants. 2). The room if you can call it that) was extremely thin, bed I’ve ever laid on in a hotel. And the pillows were very thin as well. I had to stack 3 pillows up under my head!! 3) The air conditioning unit was very noisy, and 4) The furniture was beat-up, and the paint was peeling on several spots on the bathroom door. I would never want to stay at this particular hotel again. Sorry to say.

PROS: Cozy location, convenient for visiting my regional office CONS: Parking inconvenient, staff doesn't care about people smoking anything although it's a smoke-free hotel, breakfast is convenient but too costly. There were teens in the outdoor seating area smoking blunts without a care in the world. This hotel sits next to a professional commerce area...just bad taste. Beds and showers should be updated. Only 2 pillows for a king size bed. I'm a Hilton honors member...where was my free water??

Even though I did not have a good experience at the bar, or our initial room, the front desk clerk named Robert, was extremely helpful! Very calm, very patient even when I didn't want to be. He changed my mind about switching hotels. Even though the bartender served me a drink with a bug in it. And our first room had human waste all over the toilet seat. Robert made me forget all of that. It says something about the level of service, despite all the inconveniences. I hope they give him a raise

The room and service were good—clean, comfortable. I was given a room on the freeway side of the building and the traffic noise level was very high throughout the night. However, it did not prevent me from sleeping. The sink drain was very slow. Maybe the most bothersome aspect was parking. Despite being in a suburban location, the hotel only has a few spaces of its own. 3 spots for Diamond members and a few handicapped spots near the door. Otherwise parking is in the adjacent office park’s lot, which requires a long series of stairs to access. The parking area is hidden behind a thick, 10-foot high bank of shrubs that made me concerned about the safety of my vehicle overnight. At a minimum I feel this hedge should be cut so that at least the parking will be somewhat visible from the hotel. You also have the option to use the office complex parking garage but it’s even farther away and sketchier. Not to mention the odd configuration of 1-way streets in the area that make figuring out how to enter and exit the property a challenge.
