I agree the store staff is not overly friendly. I was greeted quickly by a woman sitting on a stool , however I was passed off quickly. Patrick did good job. I agree it’s over priced, however I was hoping that meant higher quality fish. 4 …Hi Brian When you are your son came in, we tried explaining the nitrogen cycle to you along with appropriate fish to add initially into the tank. We went over water quality along with acclimation. We do go over all of this thoroughly because all of our animals are final sale. Last time I was there yes and had more hatching. No idea on price but I'd say Patrick Boff is in the right price range.

When we visited, everyone was wearing masks (and required for entry) but I think that was it, they didn't seem too packed but they also weren't limiting the amount of people in the store.

A 10 gallon would be great and plenty of room. You could even add live plants and areas where the betta could hang out and explore :) feel free to come in and chat about it!
Hi Madeleine I would recommend bringing in a sample of tank water along with tap water. As this issue may be a result of a few different things happening. I wouldn't recommend algaecides as that is a temporary fix and can be harmful to fish and inverts.
