I am trying to find an ancestor of John Adams, b. 1727 in N.C. I think that may be the person who came to America in my family. How do I go about researching this?

There is a genealogy desk at the back of the library, they would be able to help you with this
I am interested in finding out who the father of John Adams, b. 1727 in N. C. was. He is the father of my Patriot in the DAR. Is there a source where I can find this information?

We have online genealogy resources: https://www.jocolibrary.org/research/genealogy as well as genealogy volunteers to help. Visit the Central Resource Library and ask for directions to the genealogy desk. Thanks!
We have one in the MakerSpace at the Central Resource branch. I have not heard of a minute age, but children under 9 must have an adult with them in the library.
