My mom moved to the Country Home a few years ago when she didn’t really feel like cooking for herself anymore but wanted to be independent. It has been the best move ever for her! She has her own apartment with a nice sized bedroom, kitchenette (she still likes to make her own coffee), and living room with a patio where she can watch the hummingbirds fight over her feeder. She grows some patio tomatoes and flowers which she has always loved to do. She has three balanced meals a day, housekeeping once a week, and friends to play cards, bingo, or just chat with. She loves to read and there is a wonderful library on site. Mom takes advantage of the beauty shop which is close to the cafeteria, so handy! There are many other activities and services from which to choose! Each person is treated with respect and genuine caring by all staff. Moving to Our Lady of Mercy Country Home has been the perfect place for Mom, and I don’t worry about her eating or being happy in her surroundings. I highly recommend you take a tour if you are helping a parent look for a new residence with amenities. The people will win you over! They live the “Care with Dignity” mission.

I absolutely love this place! Amazing place and wonderful people to work with! The building is well taken care of and always clean! Friendly, caring and loving staff members, who love their jobs and it truly shows! I would 1000% recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice place for their loved one to live!
