They moved to the smallest location in existence. Hope you don’t have social anxiety because you’ll be sitting on a strangers lap. They got rid of the online queue and the waits are so long I now have to schedule PTO just to renew my drivers license. Living up to the DMV horror reputation. Part 2: tried to give them another shot. BAD idea. Quoted a 2 hour wait for a driver license renewal, with no system to see where on the list you are, and no chairs to sit in for those 2 hours (and you can’t go far or you won’t know when you’re called because you can barely hear anything.) They took an amazing DMV with minimal wait time and all the space in the world (which wasn’t even needed due to the online queue) with real time updates on when you need to arrive and where you are on the list, and turned it into the typical DMV nightmare. Maybe if people don’t put up with this horrendous level of service, they’ll change. I’m going to drive to another location on Monday. I’d rather drive 20 minutes and wait 20-40 than sit in that hot stale breathy germ box for two hours not knowing where I am on the list. Zero stars wasn’t possible but it’s what they deserve.

Actually the worst DMV in Missouri, and no one is pretending the other DMVs are all that great. Also, It would be nice if their hours were the same as what is listed online. Took off work just to find out they close at 4 and not 5 like they claim online.

It was good. My favorite person waited on my. This location is always busy but the ladies are pleasant and try very hard to help each person.

Sooooo slow. The greeter does absolutely nothing, another person on her phone or on the computer and didn’t help a single person. Very hot, like the ac was off. Horrible customer service.

License and proof of address.. if over 6 months expired then test again
QLess
Yes
Like 20 dollars
I would call them or go up there. I did not see anyone taking tests there or even a place to do so. (I was in line for 2hrs)
^^^What he said. Although, I'd call about the inspection. Last time I had my vehicle inspected, and was told the vehicle didn't require inspection until it was 10 years old. I wasted the time and money having it inspected
I am not sure
You can do all downtown right across from jail there
Call the office they will wlj you through it
No. Right now they do not have mobile appointments, you just walk in and do it the old school way.
No appointment required
Either of them work.
Birth certificate Proof of address Social security card
Tax receipts no.
If she wants a Missouri license she will need to go to a DMV in Mo with her birth certificate and get a new license. It wouldn't hurt to take a school ID with her also
Use the qless app and check in online without even going to the office. Then when there are 4-5 people ahead of you hear on over. Super easy.
They can't get people to work. They have tried but nobody want too show up every day. I asked about it.
2 pieces of mail with her current address, birth certificate, maybe social security card. Does she have a student ID? They might accept that too.
I dont think America has any licences in another language.
There's an app called QLess, you have to add your name on the app to get in line
There are only 2 employees on staff so it takes time to answer the phones
Yes at Stewart Rd.
Missori.gov has a pdf with info or google it.
There is an app called qless. It should have the dmv on it and you should be able to get in line where you are
They're open 9-5 Mon, wed, and Fri. 9-7 on Tues and Thurs. 9-1 on Sat. Closed Sunday. I recommend using the Q Less app. Get in line before getting up there. Works great 👍
Check with you local DMV.....
Skip the line and go to Plattsburg, no appointment needed.
Dothan gave you an excellent description of what has to happen. The only other way is walkin. If you are there when they open the you don't wait as long.
Applicants need to verify four things: identity, immigration status, social security number and Missouri residency. At minimum, the process requires four documents. One document that shows their full legal name, like a certified birth certificate copy or U.S. passport
So you talking about a Missouri ID and not a permit right? You will definitely need a birth certificate and a photo ID (a school ID with your name and photo on it perhaps?) If you have any monthly expenses/bills that are mailed to your house or emailed to you (that you could print) showing your name and address that might also be helpful.
Download app called qless to avoid long line.this app will help you to book an appointment
You can call leave messages on phone then they will call u back.i called at2 pm return call at 6.good luck.
No seperate appointments.
They are mainly doing appointment first and if they have time they do walk ins
Try a later date. Or try back again in a bit. You can always show up, wait in line, and they will work you in as they are able. . . But you will be waiting outside with no shade or seating. Given today's temperature, I would advise trying to book online. Ot perhaps at another license office of they have apts.
I would think so if you want a real ID you would also need 2 pieces of mail with your name and address on them
I believe their are stops close by.
You will have to go to the county and get a waiver for personal property tax for 2018 so long as you did not live in MO in 2018. And if you want to do 2 year plates you will also need 2017. Proof of address, titles, and insurance. Now if you wait till 2020 then these dates change.
Whoa type of license?
Address change paperwork from post office. Or new auto insurance card with new location.
you have to have your original card if it is your first id
I think you need the actual card.
I would call the dept of revenue motor vehicle section in Jeff City and explain the situation and they can give you the answers you need. My thought process is I wouldn't mess with it until the plates are up. But I know there are laws regarding how soon after you move to the state you have to register your vehicles.
I'm sorry I really don't know I've never wrote a check to them
Should be open at 9am every day but Sunday.
That's it
Yes I believe you can. If you had moved they may have the correct address on file or simply tell them that it was misplaced. I hope this helps.
I am not sure
If it more than 6 months I dont think so
6012 N Antioch Rd Kansas City, MO 64119 United States
Hmmm...1st time I haven't been able to answer a question. If I find any info, I'll come back. The scooters are not required to be licensed with the state (because they are considered motorized bicycles) as long as they are under 50cc's in size, are not capable of going more than 30 miles an hour on level ground, have less than three (3) gross horsepower, and have an automatic transmission.
Did you get your question answered?
What he said above, except if you have already changed your license you won't need show proof of address, as you've already done that ti get your new license.
Bring a utility bill or voter registration shown you new address
If you have a lien on the title then last registration... if you dont then have the title... if car is over 5 yrs old you need an inspection and if newer than 5 yrs old an idod (inspection site can do it)... proof of insurance... also go to your county tax assessor (if jackson county then independence courthouse, dowtown or lees summit city hall) for your personal property tax waiver... for drivers license bring in ks license, birth cert or passport, and proof of address like lease or bill.... also download the Qless app to sign in for your wait to start before you get to the dmv
Should be. It's a religious holiday. Other than Christmas, religious holidays aren't recognized.
You should be able to. I went there with my grandfather, and he was able to use electronic proof of property tax payments on my phone. I see no reason why proof of insurance would be different.
You can't get a temp tag from one state if you reside in another. If you are buying through a dealer, perhaps you can work something out with them to use their Dealer tags and ship them back.
If you only have Proof of residential, and a copy of driver's licences , can you renew??
Depends on the vehicle.
Assuming if you are moving from KS to MO you will need to.
Yes, and they only charge 1.25. I was on there this morning and NOT one person yelled or was rude. My experience with this office has always been great. I did a license renewal and was out in less than 10 minutes.
Go to the DMV with your social security card and birth certificate and a current piece of mail to apply for a replacement copy of your driver's license.
I have a 2013 and just relicensed it, we did not need an inspection, most new cars are exempt under 5 years old in Missouri
7000 Liberty Drive On Fridays
Yes
Its hard to say because Kansas has accepted my proof of insurance on my phone. Just bring along a paper copy just in case.
Yes
