Large fire station staffed 24 hours. Nothing new. But, this location has not matured enough to know when to use sirens, and when not to. 3am, no traffic anywhere to be seen, this station will use its sirens. In their mind, all the houses surrounding the station are somehow not residential. Get real, grow up. No traffic means to siren, you should have learned that day one. You still have your bright shinny lights, feel free to light up the dance floor with your over abundance of lights.

My wife and I stopped by Minsky’s Pizza on 51st and Main KCMO- we were behind KCFD P19 firetruck- he just sat blocking the street letting two employees out to go in and get pizza’s. He refused to move- I made him aware on how rude and unprofessional he was- he looked away and rolled the window back up, refusing to move - his actions could have caused an auto accident or worse. Again, very rude and unprofessional.

They are probably out on a call, if there are smoke and sparks you should call 911 immediately and inform them of what's happening.
Unfortunately KCFD members are not allowed to install car seats, however other departments, such as Gladstone or Lee's Summit can help you, as well as staff at Children's Mercy Hospital.
