daysi a
came back for a follow up shot, waited at the doors like the board instructed for almost 30 minutes in the heat, one nurse and one security see me siting outside in the heat sweating, while the rest of the nurses are gossiping, (now keep in mind I get heatstrokes when outside for too long) two people come in and they’re attended as soon as they get there before me, when I was already there before anyone arrived. two nurses see me siting down outside again and didn’t even ask what’s wrong, didn’t hand me the clipboard like usual keep in mind I’ve been sitting outside for almost 30 minutes didn’t even offer me to sit inside to wait so I’m not in the heat (the lobby was mostly empty) I finally stepped in and was straight forward on what I was there for and they questioned everything like it’s their business for gossip. I understand they’re meant to ask what’s wrong and ask questions when it’s needed expect the fact that I didn’t want to answer every unnecessary question when I was only there for follow up shot and that’s it but they wanted the gossip, of course I didn’t say anything of the story on why I need my shot but them gossiping and knowing there’s a patient outside waiting to be attended is disappointing, never coming back during the day, I rather prefer the Night Shift nurses or another hospital

Ive never had an issue visiting at any hour. My father called wanting me to come at 2am, I got my pass from the front and had no issue. If you're respectful of the other patients, and mindful of the staff I think they'll allow you at anytime. My experience at least
Yees
I would try calling records.
Yes there are many hotels in and around the hospital however the hospital also provides a living quarters on the campus of the hospital it's basically for friends and families of terminally ill patients and I believe they're very expensive. However hotels are in walking distance from the hospital in that area just check with Google or other local Information Services.
Yes they do
Yes
It's very quiet and calm
Depends what area of the hospital your visiting. Call front desk for the right age limit to the specific unit your going to.
Go back to the physician who performed your surgery and ask for a revision. I don't think it's necessary to sue everyone who wrongs you. There are many different reasons that screw could have come loose. I'd check with the doctor before starting a legal case.
Call them
The Trauma department kept me alive after a very serious car accident, certainly the place I'd choose needing to be put back together again
Absolutely as a matter of fact one of the people I work with had their gallbladder removed at Desert Regional I myself have had several surgeries their outstanding service top of the line first class good luck
I have no complaints it was a great hospital with great doctors and nurses.
Yes, of course. No one is turned away, and case managers can help apply for emergency Medi-cal, etc.
The hospital does have a cafeteria.
Service Animals only. Emotional Support Animals are a No 👎🏽
You should contact the hospital directly to see their vaccine policies. This page is for opening hours and directions
You need to contact the hospital via the phone number on Maps. This app is for determining hours and reviews about service
No visitors are allowed. But the security guard told me that a person might be able to get an exception, but that would be very rare and not for Covid patients.
Go in there with lawyers
Hi bonnie Jean, how are you?
Yes 3-5 hours
You would have to get that list from your insurance provider and check whether they had privileges at DRH
There isn't a ward. They're kept in the ER until placement can be found at a psych facility somewhere in the area.
No
I don't think so.
Yes
No just call the front desk and you should be okay
Only certain types are allowed. Check with the RN to know for sure
There are no visiting hours. As long as the patient agrees to see you you are allowed to come in any time. Just check in with the front desk.
Call the hospital and they will route you to the nurse in icu than they will send it to the room
Can't tell you
Visiting hours for DRMC are 24/7 except on specialty care units. Physicians and or nurses may limit the number of visitors depending on the condition of the patient. So call ahead if more than one person will be visiting the patient.
Varies, call them
I believe Desert Hospital is hands down the best health care facility in the desert. They do however have an overburdened e.r. Although the waiting game is terrible but care rendered superior. Eisenhower can have even longer waits sometimes . Eisenhower is more concerned about your ability to pay than your needs. Stick with Desert if your health comes first.
Call them
Speak to the director of patient relations
Yes
Call their info number Google it..they can help..
If you're looking for a career at Desert Regional Medical Center you have to check their website there's always openings for registered nurses positions at Desert Regional as well as Eisenhower Medical Center here in the desert both Excellence hospitals best of luck
Riverside County California in Palm Springs
When you go through the main entrance there is a giant customer service desk they will guide you as a matter of fact they will escort you to the pre-op which is down the hallway not far at all the whole process is very relaxing and very efficient I've been through there a few times for surgery best of luck
With cancer center behind parking structure
Many years ago there was a ward on the third level of Desert Regional Medical Center that took those patients. The ward is no longer there I do not know where they go now probably a County facility I'm just guessing sorry I couldn't be more positive with an exact answer for you. If you call the hospital they would probably tell you or even a local police department like Palm Springs place they will tell you. I hope that helps you
