As a Kaiser patient the level of care received was not great. Meals were late and cold on numerous occasions. Staffing was a constant problem. The case manager for the facility did not keep family members notified of changes in a timely manner or sometimes at all.He also projected a bad attitude when asked for clarity on why patient had “plateaued” and why he was being discharged. Departments within the facility very seldom coordinated efforts for medical issues and kept the family out of the loop. Norco was given when it was explicitly stated Tylenol only for pain. Patient had limited ability to feed himself and even after multiple requests for the food to be cut up it still remained an issue. A couple of nurses were great, but the majority of them were not. Discharge planning or lack there of was non-existent. Definitely would not recommend anyone to send a family member here if they cannot advocate for themselves.

The caregivers here work hard and are very attentive. Middle and upper management, it's as if they have near zero communication. They are not on the same page. The communication between middle management and the patients families is also lacking. They're good at communicating to the family what equipment will be provided once the family member is discharged but don't proactively follow through to make sure it's supplied.

The dining area staff were very special and helpful especially Denise. The facility was always clean and the front desk staff was very competent. The physical therapy staff was always encouraging and upbeat.
