I've lived in HB for over 30 years and have been coming to the Park Bench for many many years. I love this place, but the recent price hikes are now a huge turn off. $18 for an omelette is ridiculous. Sorry Park Bench, we had a good run, but that's a nope for me now.

The Park Bench Cafe is such a gem! I'm particularly a fan of the cinnamon roll pancakes and the cheesy home fries. It is such a comfortable setting and since everything is outside, fits with my COVID risk needs. Expect to wait a little for a table (maybe 20-30 min) and appreciate that the cafe knows their limits for comfortable spacing and attentive service! You may need to park in the farther parking lot.

Love Park Bench Cafe! Very dog friendly, so expect a bunch of pups at the cafe and in the surrounding area. Outdoor only seating, so be mindful of the weather + allergies. We ordered the monte cristo + country fried steak. The waitress Paola was very sweet and accommodating! Food was good and excited to try their whole menu. This might be more of a personal preference, but I didn’t know the Monte Cristo was going to be deep fried like the specialty Monte Cristo. Unless I accidentally got the specialty one and didn’t know haha. Either way, the vibes were very much American diner, all while outdoors in the middle of HB Central Park! Online you can reserve your wait in line (highly recommend if you’re going on a weekend where it could be a 45 minute wait!). I was able to reserve my spot, get the dogs ready to go, drive there and only wait about 5 more extra minutes. We took that time to look over the menu so we had a good idea of what we wanted by the time we sat down. Can’t wait for this to be part of our regular Sunday routine!

Such a fun spot for some good food! Very nice area in the park with lots of shady spaces available. We came around 12 and were told it’d be a 40-45m wait for 2 of us, it old ended up being 20-30m or so and there’s a nice, short, paved path around the park you can walk around and lots of benches you can sit at while you wait if you want too 🙂 The Country Fried Steak was average I would say, nothing super special. The Chocolate Chip Pancakes and Cinnamon Roll pancakes were AMAZING however. I didn’t think they’d charge $13 for a “short stack” side of pancakes though. We really liked the Morning Cristo with the Raspberry Jam was really delicious too. The Cheesy Home Fries didn’t really taste great to me, kind of chemically.. but my husband liked them. The Fresh Fruit Bowl was also delightful! I thought $5.50 was a very fair price for the amount of fruit they give you!! Our pup also loved his chicken and appreciated the ice water they provide for pups 🤗 Fun to have a nice place outside, with good food, good service, and loves our fur babes! We did feel it was a little expensive for the quality -$82 for 2 of us and a dog ($13 for a Short Stack, $20 for Morning Cristo, $19 for a Country Fried Steak + $3-4 extra for the “specialty” pancakes, $5 for Dog’s Chicken, $6 for a Latte, and $5 for an Iced Tea). I would also love to see them switch to more eco-friendly to-go products (condiment cups, silverware, plastic bags, straws, aluminum to-go containers, etc). Parking was also a bit full, we had to wait for 5-10min to get a spot, but it was 1200 on a Sunday. Just something to note!

Tables are open what food is only serve to go no table service
Yes, breakfast and lunch are served all day, but they are only open from 7:30a-2:00p.
Yes, but on a Sunday, on a beautiful day, there will be a wait _ at 11 am
Wait to be seated and ALL if party must be present before you're seated and they bring menu to you..it is an outdoor seating on plastic chairs
Only plan to go early bkft weekday if you will be more than 5-6 ?or lunch weekend, otherwise be prepared to wait. Most plastic outdoor tables seat 4 maybe 5. Mostly 1 st come 1 st serve. Nice that they allow dogs if on leash and tie to you, not chair, even has a🐶🐕 menu! &offers water bowls for your 4 leg friends. Inside quite small, always popular on nice weekend weather, be prepared to wait. Decent amount of tasty food, nothing special by worth your money.
According to Google they are open everyday but Monday. They open at 7:30am and close mainly at 2:00pm except for Saturday & Sunday. They are open till 3:00pm on those days
