Holiday Inn Express Olean, an IHG Hotel

The management at this location in Olean is incredibly efficient. I spent a total of 45 seconds checking-in. The person on duty had the room keys ready before I had even stepped foot into the building. The lobby was incredibly clean. The room was even cleaner. Breakfast was amazing. The pool was under maintenance, but that did not change a thing. I could not have had a better experience. This hotel is a true example of a well oiled machine - what an awesome experience to see it in action. I came here to Ski in nearby Ellicottville. I'm definitely going to be doing that again, just so I can stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel. Bed was AMAZING. Very comfy. Pool was down. Got told it would be open for part of my stay and it wasn't. Not much of a problem. However our rooms bath tub needs to be replaced desperately. (All torn up) Hair was found in the bathroom and on the towels. Blow dryer was broke. Bath tub drain was broke. Wouldn't drain. They removed the stopper and revealed a bunch of wet hair and dirt. Never cleaned that up. We had to do it just to shower. Too many issues. Front desk wasn't willing to accommodate or do anything to assist with the problems since I booked through a third party.

The rooms/bathrooms were very clean and nice. The hotel is in a good location near food places as well as stores. The staff was very pleasant and polite from start to finish. The older lady doing the breakfast was a delight every morning, greeting everyone and keeping everything stocked the entire time. We came in town to visit Holiday Valley and we will definitely be back next year!

The total experience at the Holiday Inn Express was well worth praise. As soon as we entered, the hotel was spotless, the lobby inviting, and the staff waiting and so personable at the front desk. Check in was perfect, everything was ready for us. The coffee bar was well stocked with fresh and delicious coffee, both regular and decaf (my preference) so worth mentioning. Our room was clean and fresh, and the bed extremely comfortable and I even asked about the manufacturer of the mattress for my own future reference. Lol! The breakfast bar was superb, the food was varied and well prepared with several great options. I was impressed with the full and delicious choices at the breakfast bar, better than many sit down restaurants in food quality. Check out was perfect and al in all the staff and hotel were of the highest quality. Thank you Olean Holiday Inn Express- we will definitely recommend the hotel to others with our highest praise!
