I got a Yorkie over a decade ago from gateway humane society and I had my little love bug for 12, 13 years... (memory isn't as good as it used to be). He passed on February 22, this year (2021). And I'm looking for a new little love bug still at this point, but am still looking and waiting for the right one at the right time, so gateway humane society is where I keep checking for my new little girl... hopefully... just would like to see what it's like to have a little girl this time.

Update! We adopted our Ace from here 5 years ago. It was one of the best family decisions we've made! He is about to celebrate his 6th birthday. He truly is part of the family. Thank you gateway humane society for the work yall do!

No there are 3 employees part time.
They are awesome. I adopted a kitten. Love the process.

I have tried to adopt there, its an application process. You cant take home the same day
