Well, I WAS impressed. Not so much anymore. Purchased spikes and NB practice running shoes in March for my son for track. He used his running shoes for PRACTICES ONLY in-season which was over in 3 months. His shoes mostly lived in his closet for the off-season with the exception of a few treadmill runs over the summer. Yesterday, the fabric on one of his shoes ripped and separated from the footbed all down one side. Since I didn't buy directly from New Balance, they directed me to go back to my place of purchase, which I did. Unbelievably, I was told "well, that's about all you can expect from that shoe. It is made to be fast, not really durable. Since you had them for almost 6 months (nevermind that fact that they were USED a total of about 3 months and did NOT have a lot of mileage on them as my son is a sprinter, not a distance runner) sorry, there is nothing we can do." I have purchased my own trainers here in the past. Staff at Aardvark were very knowledgeable (or so I thought) and helpful when we purchased my son's TWO pair in the spring. The gal helping us brought out NB, Hoka, plus some others for him to try. AT NO TIME did anyone tell us that "well, you should expect only a few months use out of these shoes and then they're garbage". I certainly would have reconsidered the purchase of these shoes had we been advised. I shelled out a lot of money for them and trusted the staff to equip us properly. At the very least I would expect a specialty shop to better advocate for their customers with manufacturers who are making junk. What a total waste of money and disappointing outcome.

What a fabulous experience. Greeted upon entry, I was properly fitted for running shoes by Jeri who helped me find some amazingly comfortable sneakers. The store has a very uplifting feel, as I left I was ready to run! Thank you so much.

Brian worked with me in finding a new pair of sneakers. He had spot on recommendations and was friendly the whole time. They use a foot scanner to determine foot type and create recommendations for sneakers based off it it. They allowed me to use the treadmill to test my chosen sneaker and make sure that I felt comfortable. It’s a great shop on Main Street and I highly recommend anyone looking for a sneaker stop in to see Brian. He has over 20 years of experience and it comes through in his service and sneaker fitting

Hello, thank you for your question. We are currently limited to 15 people on the sales floor at any time. Customers are asked to wait outside the store if we are at capacity. We are scheduled to increase capacity on 4/5. We are also requiring masks in the store, have spread our fit stations farther apart, and are cleaning surfaces throughout the day.
