If you want a fancy hotel from the turn of the century, stay here! You could tell this place was the Ritz of its time. Wide open spaces. Plenty of seats at the bar. Live music until midnight. We stayed in a corner room with a queen bed, with great views. The bathroom is spacious and extremely clean. Everyone that worked there is exceptionally nice. They made us feel very welcome. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of literally a hundred places to eat, shop, and drink. The sights and sounds of this hotel are wonderful. You really feel like you stepped back in time. We stayed on a Saturday night during July and the price for one night was $157 with tax. I would recommend staying here, as we plan to do so in the future. The only drawback is where the pool is located. It's a mile down the road, but they offer a shuttle if you want. There's also plenty of parking. The pool is huge and the beach is next to the parking lot. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Nostalgic looking room. Mattress comfortable. Room has a window unit rather than central A/C. Bathroom has no exhaust fan. Hotel provides breakfast but no hot food included (no eggs, bacon, cheese, pancakes, French toast. waffles, or cheese). Staff friendly.
