I would have given all 5 stars except for furniture in rooms being dated. Great staff, location, and dining options.

Very good hotel. The service was perfect, from check-in at reception to the maids. The swimming pool is very good. The location is also great, just cross the street and you are on the beach. They have bicycles to borrow. Rooms are spacious, new and clean.

We liked the resort, with its amazing decor and quiet rooms. We only had to deal with our key bracelets not working three different times, guests slamming doors early in the mornings, and the maids trying to get in our room on checkout day two times without warning, then asking us when we left the room if we were checking out. The pool was nice, with food and drinks readily available and tasting good, easy access to the beach, and walkable distance to downtown Delray Beach.

Not sure. The only one I know is Seminole Hard Rock and it's about 30 miles away. It is sn awesome casino though.
It may be the same as other cancellation policies. I would suggest calling the resort directly to make sure you get the accurate answer
Yes, there is a service called "Freebee", it runs East and West on Atlantic Avenue.
Yes
The location was formerly the Delray Beach Marriott, but is now the Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort & Spa and not associated with Marriott.
There is a main pool it's big but your also acrossed the street from the ocean !
You must log into your hilton honors account and book using your points on that site. Of course, it has to be available.
As a former employee for Marriott, I know that the property I worked at followed Florida Law. This means the property is not a gun free zone and as long as you have a carry conceal permit for the state of Florida you have 2nd amendment protection. You must follow state law. That means you cannot leave your firearm unless locked & unloaded in room safe which all rooms provide. I would refer you to the Florida statute for further reference and accuracy since this is a serious question that I don't have exact language. Secondly, you as a gun owner should know the laws.
in front of the hotel on the north side of entrance. very nice setup. lots of lounge chairs, fun fountain, a little bar for drinks and snacks
