Really believed this organization was interested in good condition items that someone else in need would be willing to cherish. They literally want pristine items, preferably expensive looking/ modern and not heavy so they can resell. (I also noticed they only took all my light items, none of the “heavier” ones were taken even if they were in really good condition). Like this couch (picture attached) that was in really good condition. I usually don’t like writing bad reviews but the bottom line is… if you value your time, want your good pieces to go to a good organization, and want all of your pieces likely gone… Please just save your time and donate to Vietnam Veterans of America, goodwill, or list online for free, furniture will truly go to someone in need. :)

I don’t usually write any reviews however if I could give 0 stars I would. After scheduling a pickup for FURNITURE, the driver got out of his truck and said “I don’t pickup furniture” and proceeded to show me the back of his truck was full of bins. I called the main number and the operator told me he couldn’t take it because it was painted. That was a lie he didn’t even look at the furniture he simply stated “ I don’t pick up furniture as I have 30 more stops if I pick up yours than I have to pick up everyone else’s”. The scathing reviews are true - I wonder if this is a legitimate foundation.

Donating to this organization has been nothing but frustrating. They would not take two slate top tables saying that they were scratched well they’re natural stone of course there’s going to be uneven surfaces because it’s real stone!

I have donated to Florida Breast Cancer for about 10 years. They have always been great to deal with and I love giving to a charity that is truly charitable. I have read some of the negative reviews and find that most involve furniture (or mattress) donations. I know that anything I donate to charity is to be in wonderful resalable condition, otherwise it should be hauled away. Perhaps others just didn't realize that...because I find everything about this charity to be great.
