If you are born in the United States, you will be dual citizen if your parents are Japanese. You have to choose what nationality you want the child to be 21 years old. Japan is a country that does not allow dual nationality for adults, but if it is a child, it is better to choose an American adult (21 years old) as a prisoner.

Normally, a visa can be issued in 4-5 working days if all the requirements are met. There are, however, some cases where referrals to the government office in Japan are necessary. In such cases, it may take around 1-2 months for the results. Therefore, early planning for your trip to Japan is recommended. Please visit our website or call our office for more information.

Yes. You need to go to the Japanese consulate for a visa. You have to download a form which you must fill in with the information of where you are going to stay there and the airline you travel. You must bring the originals and copies of your green card and any identification of Mexico and clear your passport. The process takes approximately three days.
