Yesterday was my first experience with Ortho Nebraska. Dr M. Andrew Thompson did a procedure for my left hand. His office and the hospital are so incredibly thorough. I couldn’t believe how detailed and all of the preventative procedures they provided for my safety. They were so nice and caring, all I can say is wow, I was so impressed in how they treat their patients. I highly recommend him and their hospital for any care you may need. Great job Ortho Nebraska!!!

Elkhorn office, from the moment we walked in the experience was not pleasant, receptionist acted like she had no Idea who I was or what I was doing there, had a 9:30 appointment after being taken back to an examming room I sat there till 9:59 before a PA arrived went over all the questions, now I was referred By my orthopedic surgeon to Dr Porter to see if my back problems where the cause of my knee problem yet the PA had no clue why I was there other than I had been referred no communications between offices or doctors it was almost embarrassing to be in the situation I will not return to Ortho Nebraska

Waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes past the appointment time and still hadn't been placed in an exam room. I asked for a refund of my copay and left. This was at 8:50 in the morning one of the docs first appointments of the day. Respect the doctors time and be there 15 min early as requested it no respect or communication for your time. Seek care elsewhere.

This place has been such a headache with third party billing of other people reading my mri and other stuff. Than when you see the doctor they will tell you they read it in house that is a lie. Also went to eat side and the doctor to me he worked with this establishment and come to find out he was contracted with the med center , so med center billed me. Luckily they took my insurance and was not out of network. I don’t think I would recommend this place, also the don’t bill third party if you where in a accident and make you pay in full!!! Sad, but you live and learn!!!

It depends on the individual’s health history, and is something you can discuss with your surgeon and their team.
Jennifer is correct. If you do not have insurance, we require a deposit. If you have insurance, it would depend on the specifics of your insurance plan and what your out-of-pocket responsibility is. We send letters ahead of time to each patient detailing the costs of the procedure and the deposit, if applicable.
This question cannot be answered in a general fashion, as the right dosage is highly patient and surgery specific. Please contact your health care team.
